You can understand modern archeologist making theories based on the evidence presented, ie: the tools found at each site. However, common sense must prevail when the tools found do not reflect the technology that must have been used to execute hard stone cuts with high precision. You cannot obtain the accuracy and or precision when cutting, carving and polishing hard stone like granite, andesite using primitive copper tools. It is laughable that modern archeology fails to recognize and admit the failings in their own arguments. Even when any advanced tools have not been found at these sites, it is Ludacris to claim that primitive tools are the only solution to how these ancient hard stone structures, statues and artifacts were created.

The discussion on surface energy of facets and crystals is wrong. The discussion from Wikipedia refers to single crystal materials. That's the reason why crystalline minerals have distinctive shapes. If the sarcophagi were giant single crystals, then that part of your theory might have some validity, but granite is a polycrystalline material. It is made up of small crystals that are randomly oriented with respect to each other, so carving a facet in granite wouldn't have anything like the effects you are postulating.

IMO we assume it was built as a sarcophagus, when perhaps it was found by ancient Egyptians and used for burial. It sounds like we don't know the actual date of manufacture or who had the skills and technology to make it. This article has been retracted. From what I can tell, the reason for retraction was that carbon dating of soil was performed on layers that do not have anthropogenic material identified in them. The publisher therefore thinks the conclusions regarding the age of the site are false. I enjoy some of your work but might be worth reconsidering your position in light of this. Article retractions are rare unless fundamental issues are identified
